The Association of American Law Schools (AALS) is a non-profit association of 164 law schools. The purpose of the association is “the improvement of the legal profession through legal education.” It serves as the learned society for law teachers and is legal education’s principal representative to the federal government and to other national higher education organizations and learned societies.
The Section on Contracts, one of 78 AALS sections, is composed of members of the faculty and administration of member schools. One of the responsibilities of the section is to present a program at the Annual Meeting. This web site represents an attempt by the section to provide other information, facilitate interchange, and conduct other activities of interest to the members.
The Section maintains a discussion list for Contracts teachers.
This web site was created and maintained thanks to the volunteer work of the section members, with the financial assistance of the AALS. It is designed to provide you with various resources about Contracts teaching and scholarship. We hope you will find the site helpful. To keep the site current, we need your help. As you browse the resources at the site, please let us know how it can be improved.
